For the first pattern I could not understand the written pattern at all and followed Shelley’s tutorial online the whole way, thinking I’ll never be able to understand it. Same with pattern no 2. By pattern 3 I was improving with the written pattern and no 4 was better again. I’m up to no 5 now and I’m doing it completely using the written pattern. No need for the video at all.
